Hotel Review: Momo Boutique Hotel Kuala Lumpur Malaysia

The first thing needed for a trip is to find a good, suitable hotel. After checking out a few options on Trip.com, I decided on Momo's Hotel. It has the type of interior and vibe I like.

When we arrived at the hotel, we were happily surprised by how beautiful and photogenic the outside of the building looked. It was so nice that before even going inside to check in, we couldn’t resist and started taking a lot of photos. The exterior really caught our attention right away, and we just had to capture the moment.

It could even be a photoshoot spot!

There was a bar that you could get to from both the outside and inside of the hotel. It was connected to a seating area that had a cozy-pop, disco party-style interior, right next to the reception. The design made it feel really inviting, with the bar and seating space blending together, so guests could easily move between the bar and the relaxing café-like area inside. There were also some seats outside of the building.

The whole building is very vibrant and full of life, with bright colors and a cheerful atmosphere. It feels lively and welcoming as soon as you see it.

I’ve stayed in two different types of rooms at the hotel. One was the "Bunkies" room, and the other was the "Crashpad" with two twin beds. Originally, I didn’t plan on traveling with someone else this time, so I booked a room meant for two people, but I was supposedly the only one staying.

This is the Bunkies room, which has a bunk bed. The room is small but cozy, this setup is simple yet practical. I felt really happy when I entered the room because they paid attention to so many details.

They even provided a KL Guidebook along with two simple yet stylish bottles, which are different from the usual things you find in hotels. The hairdryer was neatly placed in a tote drawstring bag, which was a nice touch, and the walls had a lovely texture that added to the overall look of the room. It felt unique and well thought out.

I was also really impressed by the fragrance of their hand soap. It had a nice, fresh scent that made washing my hands feel extra pleasant. The body wash and shampoo smelled great too, which I really enjoyed. Although I wouldn’t say the shampoo made my hair feel less dry, it did leave a very nice fragrance.

The Crashpad room was slightly more spacious compared to the other one. I really liked the wooden deck that held the two beds; it gave the room a warm woody and cozy feeling. The way the space was arranged was very neat and organized, making it feel comfortable and well-planned. Even though it wasn’t a huge room, the clever design of the wooden platform and the way everything was laid out made it feel more open and inviting. I also liked the design of the wall behind the bed. It had a beautiful look that added to the room's charm.

The window in the room has a unique design with a wooden panel that makes it special. When you open and close it, you can really feel the difference compared to regular windows. The wooden panel adds a touch of charm to the overall look of the room.
