Penang Camera Museum @ George Town

I have been wanted to visit Penang Camera Museum for a very long time. Sadly they opened about 2yrs after my first trip to Penang, so didn't plan to return to Penang that soon. Now it's about 6yrs from my previous visitation.

I went with a Group of Photography Friends and here we go to George Town's Camera Museum.

Here's Joi and me, the Hidden one is Sam. He's alittle shy. Haha.
Apparently, I heard this is the First Camera Museum in South East Asia. It is located in the heart of George Town Heritage area in a refurbished 2-storey shophouse along Lebuh Muntri. Along that area, there's some yummy food around too.

The Must Try, is the one I've tried for Lunch!

Although its exterior doesn't look pleasing to the Eyes, their Food are pretty Awesome and affordable! Traditional coffee shop style, and remember don't just sit down and wait for Menu. Queue to order first, serving takes awhile.

It's right at the back of Camera Museum back alley's door!

Back to the Camera Museum topic:
The Camera Museum’s collection consist of Camera Obscura, Daguerreotype, Box Camera, Folding Camera, Large and Medium Format Camera, 35mm Camera, Single and Twin Lens Reflex, Point and Shoot o Instant and Digital Camera from the eighteenth century right up till present day from all over the world including, Britain, Europe, France, India, Japan Russia and Thailand which made a complete camera evolution timeline for the exhibition.

Visitors get the opportunity to handle actual antique cameras at the museum exhibition hall on second floor.

Next is the camera inspired souvenir shop on 1sts storey which sells unique designed or handmade products by their own artists, along side other fun and other souvenirs.

Last but not least, we love the Cat at the Museum. Got a shot of this very friendly and photogenic Black Cat at the Museum.
