As you may know, this is my 2nd time designing my own Living space and I'm really excited to share with you my possessions from a four-room HDB flat into a single room. While having ample storage is essential, it's equally important to avoid clutter and an excessive number of shelves or cabinets that can make the room feel cramped or claustrophobic.

An excess of hard surfaces in your living space can diminish the overall coziness, potentially leading to increased stress rather than relaxation.

-Visual balance is crucial for designing a cozy space. 

-Strike a balance between soft and hard elements in your room design. 

-Avoid overwhelming the room with excessive shelving or closed-door cabinets. 

-Both open shelving and closed cabinets should maintain a sense of balance. 

-If you choose open shelving, arrange items in a visually appealing and organized manner. 

-Coordinate the colours of your items with the overall colour scheme of your home.

Comfort is a universally essential aspect of every Bedroom, regardless of whether it has a specific theme or not. While installing cabinet doors may appear to lean towards a harder aesthetic, you can achieve a balanced effect by incorporating an adequate number of display shelves that showcase soft display. As well as installing curtains to blend with the harder aesthetics in the room. Moreover, some plants or flowers can help create a visual and tactile balance within the room.

The reason I opted for curtains instead of blinds in my room is that I desired a softer touch.
