ABOUT SINGAPORE REPERTORY THEATRE (SRT)
Founded in 1993, Singapore Repertory Theatre (SRT) is a leading Asian English-language theater producer. They've created acclaimed productions, ventured to Broadway, and collaborated internationally with renowned figures in theater.
SRT has a rich history of site-specific theatre, having presented events like Shakespeare in the Park and acclaimed productions such as "Caught" (2019) and "C-O-N-T-A-C-T" (2022). Even earlier, SRT was the pioneer of dinner theatre in Singapore with "Ah Kong’s Birthday Party" in 1998, which remains an iconic local production with an impressive six-month run, co-created by Dick Lee.
Director Dick Lee expresses his enthusiasm for bringing back this unique blend of theatre and cuisine, saying, "Ah Kong’s Birthday Party was a very successful and unique theatrical experience, the very first immersive production in Singapore that combined Food and Theatrical Show.
ANTICIPATE THE SHOW'S EXCITEMENT
The Chan family reluctantly finds themselves in-charge of a wedding celebration, but their enthusiasm is lacking. The bride in question is none other than their 70-year-old matriarch, Por Por, and to everyone's bewilderment, the identity of the groom remains a mystery. Por Por insists that he will only be unveiled at the wedding dinner.

ABOUT CHEF MANJUNATH MURAL
Chef Manjunath Mural made history as the first Indian Executive Chef to attain a Michelin star for an Indian restaurant in Southeast Asia. This achievement fulfills his lifelong aspiration of garnering global recognition for Indian cuisine. He defines his culinary style as 'Asian-Indian gastronomy,' combining traditional Indian cooking techniques with flavors from his travels, resulting in a distinct fusion of "lighter Indian food influenced by Asian spice and style." Chef Mural serves as the co-owner of ADDA Singapore, overseeing the restaurant located at Beach Road.
