You might be aware of the latest attraction in Singapore, One Holland Village by Far East Malls, drawing the attention of almost everyone during this festive season. Intrigued by the buzz, I found myself excited to explore this place.
Surprisingly, I didn't anticipate enjoying it as much as I did.
One Holland Village is truly distinctive. It hosted various activities to kick off its opening, including a Flea market and Ample shopping options within the mall and its surrounding shops. The open-concept designed building is noteworthy, with only restaurants and retail shops indoors; any other attractions are mainly outdoors. This allows visitors to shop, stroll, and spend quality time with their pets, making it an ideal destination for pet owners.
Hint: There's a cozy Cafe namely Plain Meredith, where you and your pets can dine together with your friends/family indoors.
There are additional stores that welcome your pets, but be sure to check the signs outside each shop before bringing them in, as some places are designated as pet-free zones.
Unlike the usual places you would see many dogs where they are seen either in shelters or pet cafes, this place is a Paradise for encountering a variety of cute and adorable dogs, as well as other pets.
While fewer cat owners are bringing their feline family, you can still spot a few, along with the occasional bunny or parrot. It's a haven for pet owners seeking a change of Scenery for their bored pets at home.
The mall boasts a variety of retail shops and restaurants, creating a destination suitable for both pet-friendly and pet-free outings, ensuring a satisfying shopping experience for all.
The first event at the location has lots of fun things happening, like photo booth for pets and a contest on stage to show off their talents.
Make sure to explore the expansive Roof gardens before you leave. It's delightful to witness dogs frolicking without their owners fretting about flees. The area is secure and safe, providing a liberated space for them to play and exercise healthily.
The pet-friendly indoor-outdoor mall offers a delightful experience under the sun, and a spacious roof garden and multiple seating areas provide an excellent opportunity for pet owners and their furry companions to relax and chill together.
My visit left me thoroughly impressed with the Pet-friendly atmosphere and overall ambiance of One Holland Village.
Nevertheless, the majority of shops at One Holland Village welcome pets, whether you prefer to let them walk alongside you or carry them inside.
