From Selfie to Sticker: How I Designed My Own Whatsapp Cute Chibi Sticker with ChatGPT

These days, with AI, almost anything is possible — especially when it comes to drawing and design. In the past, if you couldn’t draw, you simply couldn’t create. But now, thanks to AI, anyone can bring their ideas to life with just a few typed words.

Now, let me show you how I created this super cute chibi version Whatsapp sticker of myself — even the outfit matches perfectly and totally reflects my style. I’m absolutely loving it! You can easily make your own too by following the steps below.

Step 1: Take a selfie or a photo of yourself — just a headshot, no need for a full-body pic. A casual one works perfectly!
Step 2: Upload your selfie to ChatGPT.

Step 3: Paste this text:

Convert the image into a set of 12 chibi sticker (4x4 grid) with outfit similar to this one, including expression of laughing, being angry, crying, sad, sulking, thinking, being sleepy, confused, blowing a kiss, winking, being surprise, wanting a hug? in love!!!

Step 4: Crop your artwork into individual graphics.
Step 5: Download and open an app called Sticker Studio.

Step 6: Tap the "+" icon, then select "Choose photo" to insert each design one by one.
Step 7: Use the freehand tool to carefully cut out your design, following the outline closely for a clean cut.
Step 8: Tap the Tick to save your sticker to a new/existing sticker pack — your choice!

Although it took a bit of effort, it’s so much faster than before — you can create them really quickly now! I even made some for my family, and just look at how adorable my dad’s sticker turned out. Now I’m getting greedy… I want stickers of myself in all my different outfits, haha!

By the way, a quick tip for you: use only ChatGPT with these text prompts — it works best there. I tried using Gemini, but the results turned out pretty ugly!
