Discover Bangkok @ Amphawa Floating Market

Amphawa Floating Market is the second most popular floating market near Bangkok, it is not as large as Damnoen Saduak which is the first most popular floating market. However, Amphawa has a lot more local and non-touristic stores.
I'm really Thankful that me and my friend were lead by our Thailand friend, Kate and Fon made our trip an unforgettable one.
We've been to many cultured places in and near Bangkok such as Maeklong Train Station which is 14km away from Amphawa Floating Market.

So coming back to the Amphawa Floating Market topic, it's about an hour or two from Bangkok city by driving. Other than the "boat stores" along the river, there are the street market and shops around the river area. You can also get really good handicrafts souvenirs from here!
We are too often seeing this tilted head fishes, however unsure what fish is that and how to eat it. I've also heard of its name call "Pla-too" but am unsure about it. There is also much of other rare food in the street market.
There are many seafood street stalls around with Huge prawns, fresh cuttlefish, fat and tender sotong, BBQ clams. OMG... it's so tempting!

It is definitely a MUST-TRY for one of these dishes, it's super delicious especially with their homemade sauce.
